Peeling
Chemical peels can be recommended to patients as a standalone treatment (for mild acne, mild hyperpigmentation, oily skin, improving and/or unifying skin color, enhancing skin radiance and hydration), in combination with other techniques or technologies such as dermaroller, ablative or fractional laser, masks, among others, or as a protocol for preparing the skin of patients with phototypes III, IV, V, VI who will undergo facial rejuvenation treatments with laser. It involves the application of a chemical substance on the skin's surface, which causes a gentle peeling of the epidermis, renewing the superficial layers of the skin and stimulating the formation of new collagen. The quantity and frequency of sessions will depend on each patient, but on average, 4 to 6 sessions are performed every 15 or 30 days.
